The annual report published today looks back on a dynamic 2025, marked by the completion of the Bank's strategic review and the launch of new financial instruments tailored to the challenges of competitiveness, green and digital transitions, and technological innovation.

Launch of the National Defence Fund

April 30, 2026 - The Minister of Finance, Gilles Roth, the Minister of Defence, Yuriko Backes, and the Minister of Economy, SMEs, Energy and Tourism, Lex Delles, launched the National Defence Fund (NDF), endowed with 150 million euros and implemented by the SNCI.

Hydrosat's technology enables more informed decision-making in agriculture, water management, and disaster prevention.

The annual report published today reviews a dynamic year, marked by increased support for SMEs and growing involvement in innovative sectors. In an uncertain economic environment, characterized by geopolitical tensions, rising demand for technological investment, and challenges related to the ecological transition, the SNCI continued and strengthened its efforts to support the competitiveness, innovation, and sustainability of Luxembourg businesses.

The successor to the Luxembourg Future Fund is investing in MiddleGame Ventures, a leading venture capital fund based in Luxembourg.

LFF 2 Invests in 33N to fuel cybersecurity and tech innovation

Housing support vehicle Prolog S.A. now operational

In response to the housing crisis, five Luxembourg banks have created a support mechanism for the residential property sector with a view to increasing the supply of completed homes. Announced at a press conference on 22 May 2024 in the presence of Finance Minister Gilles Roth, this mechanism, a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) in the form of a limited company called Prolog S.A., is now operational. This approach complements the government's measures to boost housing.
