Launch of the National Defence Fund
April 30, 2026 - The Minister of Finance, Gilles Roth, the Minister of Defence, Yuriko Backes, and the Minister of Economy, SMEs, Energy and Tourism, Lex Delles, launched the National Defence Fund (NDF), endowed with 150 million euros and implemented by the SNCI.

626 Luxembourg, September 30, 2025: The Luxembourg Future Fund (LFF2), a joint initiative of the Société Nationale de Crédit et d'Investissement (SNCI), Luxembourg's development bank, and the European Investment Fund (EIF), has invested in Hydrosat, a company that uses satellite thermal imaging to address some of the planet's most pressing natural resource and security challenges. Hydrosat's technology enables more informed decision-making in agriculture, water management, and disaster prevention.
