SNCI has created, together with five commercial Luxembourg-based banks - Banque et Caisse d'Epargne de l'Etat, BGL BNP PARIBAS, Banque Internationale à Luxembourg, ING Luxembourg and Banque Raiffeisen - the “Société luxembourgeoise de capital-développement pour les PME S.A.” with a paid-in capital of 4.960.000 euros.
The objective of CD-PME is to take participating interests and subscribe to convertible bonds in Luxembourg based SME’s with the aim of reinforcing the equity base and the financial strength of these companies.
Potential beneficiaries are small- and medium sized enterprises¹, active in the industry, crafts or service sectors, established under the form of joint-stock companies that are implementing innovative projects generating new jobs. The innovative character can be found at the level of the services offered, the products, the production process or the commercial concept.
The financing granted by CD-PME is limited and can in principle not exceed 50% of the financing need or 300.000 euros.
