7 In the context of a defaulting shareholder, the voting rights for a portion of the shares held by the majority shareholder, Northstar Trade Finance Inc., are suspended. Given the default of the said majority shareholder—which is owned by major Canadian banks—a shareholder advance was approved (undisbursed) by the minority shareholders. This advance aims to enable NORTHSTAR EUROPE S.A., if necessary and under certain conditions, to successfully carry out the orderly liquidation of its activities, which has been underway since 2017.
8 In the context of the crisis in the construction sector, the Bank took an equity stake in Prolog Luxembourg S.A., jointly with Spuerkeess, BIL, Banque Raiffeisen, and Banque de Luxembourg. The SNCI holds a 17.65% stake in the share capital of Prolog Luxembourg S.A. and participates to the same extent in the loan financing of Prolog Luxembourg S.A.
