EIF cooperation – Luxembourg Future Fund 1
Description
The Luxembourg Future Fund 1 (LFF I) is a €150 million fund of funds designed to diversify and support the sustainable development of the Luxembourg economy. It aims to attract venture capital fund managers and innovative companies at various stages of development to Luxembourg.
Created by the European Investment Fund (EIF) and SNCI, it combines €120 million from SNCI and €30 million from the EIF. LFF I invests directly or indirectly in venture capital funds and SMEs, primarily in strategic sectors such as information and communication technologies, cleantech, and other technologies, excluding the healthcare and life sciences sectors, in order to promote the country’s economic diversification.
The investment period of LFF 1 ended in October 2022.
