SNCI has created, together with five commercial Luxembourg-based banks - Banque et Caisse d'Epargne de l'Etat, BGL Société Anonyme, Dexia-Banque Internationale à Luxembourg, Banque ING and Banque Raiffeisen - the “Société luxembourgeoise de capital-développement pour les PME S.A.” with a paid-in capital of 4.960.000 euros.
The objective of CD-PME is to grant equity loans and, exceptionally, to take participating interests in Luxembourg based SME’s with the aim of reinforcing the equity base and the financial strength of these companies.
Potential beneficiaries are small- and medium sized enterprises¹, active in the industry, crafts or service activities, established under the form of capital (joint-stock) companies that are implementing innovative projects generating new jobs. The innovative character can be found at the level of the services offered, the products, the production process or the commercial concept.
The financing granted by CD-PME is in principle of limited duration with a maximum of ten years. The amount of the financing cannot exceed 50% of the financing need or 250.000 euros.
